Alexander Wetmore works with Arthur Cleveland Bent to gather data on the economic status and geographic distribution of birds and mammals. The materials included are correspondence, an expense book, maps, reports on the investigations, and photographs. Materials reference expected collecting and realized collections that fell short of expectations. There are 2 maps. Both have same route marked in black, noted in the key that the route, May 11 - September 1, 1911. The route marked runs through Alexander Archipelago, across Gulf of Alaska, Shelikof Strait, and Alaska peninsula to the Aleutian Islands.
