Notes
This field book documents the field work and travel of Goldman in Mexico between 10 August and 22 November 1893. Goldman's narrative notes record taxon and common names of plants, birds, and mammals observed and collected. Some common specimens include pines, sparrows, jays, rabbits, voles, and Kangaroo rats. Locations include but are not limited to San Martin (Puebla), Tulancingo, San Juan (near Tohuca volcano), Santa Rosalia (Ciudad Camargo), Chihuahua, and Gallego. Goldman's notes also record altitudes, weather conditions (occasionally), how common a species is in a particular area, and descriptions of the route he traveled.
