The notebook documents the work of Russ Greenberg in Mexico during October 25 - December 1, 1988. Entries vary in content and structure. Some are headed with date, sometimes location information (e.g. old forest transect), and weather. They contain lists of description relating to bird behavior including measurements, common name, sex, age, and unidentified abbreviations. Other entries list type of bird (common name) with characteristics including identifier (e.g. #207), weight, fat, age, sex, and appearance. Some entries are bird lists. At least some locations were in the vicinity of Sian Ka'an, Mexico.
