The volume documents the field work of Russ Greenberg in the forests of Belize during February 11 - 24, 1984. Entries are narrative in structure or contain lists of description. Narrative entries are dated and describe travel details, habitat, travel routes (with landmarks), bird lists (common name and quantity), and observations of flora and fauna. Other entries document a foliage survey and contain tables of data for dead leaf samples. At the end of the volume is a list of expenses.
