Field notes Vol. 592 documents Arthur Cronquist's botanical collecting in Iran in 1969 on a New York Botanical Garden expedition, with co-collector Parviz Babakhanlou, as well as a few collections from Utah. It consists of a list of specimen numbers 10697-10738, collected June 27-July 28, 1969 in Iran; and numbers 10739-10741, collected September 6-8 in Cache County, Utah. The list contains collection locations and dates, descriptions of plant and habitat, and many have determination (added later). The notebook also contains many pages of miscellaneous notes.
