Field notes Vol. 577 documents Arthur Cronquist's botanical collecting in Utah, Kansas, New Mexico, and Minnesota in 1961-1962 on a New York Botanical Garden expedition, with co-collectors Noel H. Holmgren (Utah), T.M. Barkley (Kansas), and W.A. Weber (New Mexico). It consists of a list of specimen numbers 9475-9510, collected July 11, 1961 and July 13-September 1, 1962. The list contains collection locations and dates, descriptions of plant and habitat, and many have determination (added later).
