This notebook contains mostly lists of names and titles of those individual by state (several Western United States are listed). Many persons listed were affiliated with the state's agriculture or fish and game departments. Nelson also includes some notes on his conversations or intended topics of discussion. Geese in Lake View Oregon, on Goose Lake, and in Strawberry Valley (Utah) were reported during his trip. An itinerary of travel from 29 November to 13 December is included.
