Charles D. Walcott records observations made of sites along the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia and Alberta, Canada near the route of the Canadian Pacific Railroad, 1907-1916. Most sets of notes are several handwritten pages, generally separated into acid free envelopes. Details include extensive descriptions of sites, descriptions of sections, characteristics of stone, sketches, fauna, and fossils found. Formations mentioned include Sullivan, Bosworth, Whyte, and Cathedral. Sites include the vicinity of: Ranger Canyon, Castle Mountain, Van Horn Range, and Mt. Robson.
