The botanical notebook (3 of 6) document Bohumil Shimek's work in Nicaragua, 1892-1893. The notebook covers specimens (287-525) and are divided by location, first half covers Ometepe (287-400), second half covers El Castillo de La Concepci—n (401-525). Entries are headed by specimen number, and include detailed plant descriptions of parts (fruit, leaves), color, texture, structure, sometimes surrounding environment, terrain, nearby vegetation, and measurements. Includes some illustrations of plant parts a seed list for Ometepe with numbered and check marks indicated if included.
