The text appears to be the same as that issued with the 3rd (1716) and subsequent editions of Curvo Semmedo's Polyanthea medicinal; and presumably also with his Observaçoens medicas doutrinaes, 3rd ed., 1741 (Blake, p. 106). The Wellcome copy is a different setting from that issued with the Library's copies of the 3rd and 5th (1741) editions of Polyanthea medical.
