This volume is a catalog of bird specimens collected on Southern Island Cruise (SIC) 7 on the Pacific Ocean in February and March 1965 for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. On the cover of the volume, the cruise is referred to as ATF #7. It appears that the same records can be found in the ATF #7 section of Southern island cruises 1-8, 1963-1965, part 2 : SIC 1-8, in Box 200 Folder 2 of this same collection, SIA RU000245 (item Southern island cruises 1-8, 1963-1965, part 2 : SIC 1-8). Locations include Howland Island, Baker Island, Tutuila, and islands of the Line Islands and the Tokelau Islands. Fields include field number, species, island, date, weight, type, and remarks.
