Album displaying 78 carte-de-visite photographic portraits of entomologists and other naturalists (mainly American but some European). Their names, country of origin, and, in some cases, birth and death dates, are handwritten below the portraits. Many of the portraits have been signed or inscribed on the reverse side. Twenty of the portrait windows bear names but no photographs, the images having been lost or damaged.
