Notes
The black-and-white photographs document field work on Phoenix Island [Rawaki] the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, February 23 - 27, 1964. There are captions on the reverse side of the images that list location, date range, description, photographer (Roger B. Clapp), and negative number. Descriptions sometimes include information about age of bird and type of vegetation. Subject matter covers birds in habitat (Lesser Frigatebird, Red-tailed Tropic Bird, Masked Booby), participants taking blood samples of birds, and Ray Jillson holding Frigatebird.
