The 10 black-and-white photographs document field work completed on Howland Island, February 1966. The photographs show inland terrain. One photograph by B. A. Harrington shows a panorama over Tribulus. The images have captions on the reverse side that list a variety of information, including location, date, description, photographer and negative numbers (BV-9, BV-10, BV-11, BV-12, BV-13, BV-14, BV-15, BV-16, BV-17, and 247A).
