David Pesonen discusses his childhood, his education at the University of California, Berkeley School of Forestry, and the Law School (Boalt Hall). Then he elaborates on various environment issues, including Bodega Bay and Harbor and the Nuclear Power Plant proposed there by Pacific Gas & Electric, the Nuclear Safeguards Act, forestry management under Governor Jerry Brown, being General Manager of the East Bay Regional Park District; his representation of the Sierra Club, and mediating disputes between the Sierra Club and the Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund, as well as his legal career at Garry, Dreyfus, McTernan, and Brotsky, and being Superior Court Judge of Contra Costa County.
