Technical Note 412 contains analyses and related source data for 311 natural gas samples from 13 States. Of the total samples, 309 were collected during calendar years 1998 through 2001. The analyses were made using mass spectroscopy and gas chromatography...All samples were obtained and analyzed as part of the United States Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management investigations of the occurrences of helium in natural gases of countries with free-market economies.
