The loose sheets document the work of Israel Gregory Sohn in Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, and Virginia, October 18, 1951 - March 1954. Most entries are dated and headed with location information. They contain a list of numbered items (e.g. 10-3) with descriptions of terrain, measurements, presence of fauna, as well as if photographs were taken. They are intermittently separated with typed descriptions of field work and individuals with whom worked on Form 9-075. Some entires include sketches.
