Notes documents when and where the bird was seen, and also notes when and where that species was previously seen or shot by Mearns or his companions. Notes on abundance and distribution of that species are also included. Localities noted include "Johnstons Canyon", Whipple, Fort Verde, Ash Fork, Verde Valley, and Prescott.
