Field notes document the work of James Lynch in the Yucatan Peninsula, Quintana Roo, Guatemala, and Belize, January 26, 1986 - February 25, 1987. Work covers a trip to Quintana Roo to study neoarctic migrant birds as well as migrant birds in Guatemala, and Belize. The loose sheets are headed with date and location or route, followed with a narrative style format that contains travel details, work with colleagues, data and summaries from point surveys and mist-netting, hand-drawn maps, vegetation in habitat (e.g. mangroves), description of weather and routes traveled during field work, bird lists and counts (common name). Also contains lists, expense receipts, and news clippings.
