Carl von Linné, the younger projected a continuation of this series which was stopped by his death, and a pupil of his father's, J.C.D. Schreber issued v. 8-10 (1785-90) and a new edition of v. 1-7 (1787-90). V. 10 contains dissertations by Linné the younger. cf. Soulsby 1280.

Variant edition statements: "Editio tertia" for v. 1-2 (Soulsby 1283 & 1289); "Editio secunda" for v. 3-7 (Soulsby 1294, 1298, 1302, 1306, 1310); no. ed. statement for v. 8-10 (Soulsby 1312, 1314, 1316) as this was the first appearance of these volumes.

Vols. 1-7 of the Erlangen edition (J.C.D. Schreber, editor) are reprinted with identical pagination from earlier editions: v. 1-2, from Stockholm ed., 1749-1751; v. 3-7, identically paged in all editions.

Vol. 10 consists of dissertations and papers of Linné the younger.

Vol. 8 has 2 identical t.p.s except for typesetting of author's name ...
