These are a collection of notes, note cards and essays relating to lectures Chase gave about her two collecting trips to Brazil. The first relates to her trip to Caparaó from the Minas side in Serro do Mar in 1929. Second grouping relates to a talk given for the Biological Society, October 24, 1925 on collecting in Brazil. Also included is a document title "Quest for Grasses in Brasil." Materials are typed, and with references (by number and caption) to images used.
