The field notes and drawings document William Holmes' study of the Mayan ruins at Chichén Itzá in Mexico during 1895. Includes illustrations in various level of detail; some are field sketches and others intended for publication. Drawings depict architecture details, entire structures, and floorplans, frequently with annotations that include measurements. Notes describe building methods and structure details.
