Possible date of publication conjectured from it's binding with "Grundlicher Unterricht vom Nutzen und Gebrauch einiger bewährtesten Medicinen, als eines Lebens-Balsams, Lindernden Spiritus, und balsamischen Pillen" / possibly written by Friedrich Hoffmann, Halle [an der Saale], 1719.

An earlier ediiton of this work is listed by the KVK as printed in Halle [an der Saale], and printed by Christian Henckel, in 1707, with 20 pages, and a medical work with a very close title "Gründlicher Bericht Von der Balsamischen, Blut-Reinigend, und confortirenden Pillen, wie auch auf sonderbahres Verlangen, Von des rothen Fluss-Magen-und Stein-Pulvers, Zuverlässiger sonderbahren Würckung und rechtem Gebrauch", is listed in several editions of 1712, 1719, and 1721, all printed by Christian Henckel in Halle [an der Saale] with differing pagination. These later works have been attributed to Georg Ernst Stahl (1659-1734), a physician and chemist who was born in Halle [an der Saale], died in Berlin, and worked in Halle [an der Saale]

Includes references to china-china, or Jesuits bark, which was used to make quinine, for the treatment of fevers, and uses for bezoars, including that of making tinctures.
