Catalogue organized alphabetically in the Linnean system of the trees, shrubs, and perennials in the Arboretum de Balaine in Villeneuve-sur-Allier, Allier, Auvergne, France. The arboretum was created in 1804 by Aglaé Adanson, daughter of naturalist Michel Adanson, as an English-style park surrounding a mansion inherited from her father. The catalogue includes species of plants from all over the world including Chile, Florida, Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, and others listed only cultivated in North and South America.
