Notes
This item consists of two sets of field notes of Vincent J. Hoeman and an interview transcript. The transcript is a very short account of an interview conducted with Hoeman by W.J.L. Sladen on May 27, 1964. Note on the bottom of the page reads, "Didn't finish because too hard to understand." The field notes document Hoeman's work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in 1964. Notes from January to May 1964 correspond to work done in Hawaii observing birds. Field notes from June 1964 document Hoeman's observations of birds and personal accounts of time spent in Alaska. Interspersed with field notes are Hoeman's personal accounts of his travels.
