This item documents Bailey's collecting and observations of flora and fauna in Texas and Washington from March 12-May 9, 1918. Dated lists of specimens typically identify specimens by genus and species. Localities in Texas include: San Antonio, Lubbock, "Coyote camp" in Sterling county, Ozona, and McDonald Lake. Localities in Washington include Port Angeles and the Elwah River. The inside front cover has a hand written notation that reads, "Mammals 9947". Some localities noted may also be in Mexico.
