This field book contains Stejneger's notes from his research in various locations in the middle Kuril Islands. Pages are numbered 301-356. Stejneger's notes are narrative and describe his observations of the landscape (included is a long description of Raikioke Island) and daily events A list of the number of seals killed and skinned is included. Stejneger also notes seal sightings. In this notebook, he comments about the scarcity of seals compared to the number of seals 12 years before. Between pages 324 and 325 is a bird list.
