Notes
Charles D. Walcott records details of his observations of Cambrian strata in Wyoming from 1891 to 1929. Some of the work from 1924 was completed as part of his work for United States Geological Survey (USGS). Descriptions of sites and strata are detailed and include measurements (in feet) and some illustrations. Sites observed include the vicinity of Laramie, Big Horn Peak, Tensleep Canyon, South Fork Teton Creek, Warm Spring Mountain, Torry Creek, and Thermopolis. Includes an extract of a letter, Eliot Blackwelder to Charles D. Walcott, March 1, 1926; notes by Charles Elmer Resser and L. J. Moraces; and memorandum, Walcott to Resser, 1924.
