In the revised edition the Natural History portions have been revised and expanded necessitating the introduction of four extra pages: *12-*13 (date 1841) inserted after p. 12; p. *161-*164 inserted after p. 164. The Mollusca section p. 150-156 was reset and rearranged, with many additions.

In the rev. ed. on p. 156 appears the date, "Nov. 4, 1840" pp. *12 and *13 relating to objects presented in 1841, are on a pasted-in leaf.
