Volume 1 (texte) has [4], viii, [1], 10-682 pages; volume 2 (planches) has [4] pages, 403 leaves of plates (some folded).

Plates 13-16 are misnumbered as 9-12; plate 52 is misnumbered as 32; plate 203 is misnumbered as 202; and plates 379-403 are misnumbered as 371-395. Plates 176 & 177 are printed together on the same leaf; so are plates 198 & 199. In addition to plate 99, there are also three plates numbered 99a, 99b, and 99c. There is no plate numbered 288, which was omitted from the foliation sequence without loss of content.
