This item consists of a folder of data collected at sea by Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program staff, on the Eastern Area Cruise 21, 1967. Materials include: bird observation sheets, fix data sheets, surface weather observations, and additional data. Bird observation sheets include time, species, #, dir., specimen or band no., and remarks. Remarks include physical descriptions of birds (colors, size, maturity), flock size, and behavior (sitting on water, feeding, calling, etc.). Fix data sheets include: ship, date, sunrise (time, lat., long.) sunset (time, lat., long.), total miles traveled, position (time, lat., long), and course or speed change. Also included is a typed preliminary report and photographs of plotting and bathymetric data.
