The black-and-white photographs of Hawaiian Noddy Tern (Anous minutus) were taken as part of the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, 1962-1967. The photographs feature the birds in flight, standing near shore, and nesting, and includes some photographs of nests with chicks and eggs. Photographs were taken on Southeast Island, Lisianski Island, and Christmas Island, among others. The photographs are attributed to: R. Chandler, R. B. Clapp, C. D. Hackman, P. C.
