The black-and-white photographs were taken as part of the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program in 1964, 1966, and 1967. The photographs depict Bristle-thighed curlews on Kamome Island, Phoenix Island, and Southeast Island. Labels on the reverse of the photographs list brief captions and negative numbers.
