This folder contains maps, graphs, and tables compiling hydrographic data from Smithsonian Cruise 95, collected September 29 - October 4, 1964. Data were collected on the Pacific Ocean to the south and southeast of Johnston Atoll and between Johnston Atoll and Hawaii, within the area approximately bounded by 13∞ to 20∞ N and 161∞ to 173∞ W. Individual hand-drawn maps plot BT stations, surface salinity (â), corrected surface temp. (∞C), depth of the 20∞ isotherm, depth of the mixed layer, and bucket temp. (∞C) and bucket salinity (â). Also plotted on these maps are data from Gilbert Cruise #76, collected on the Pacific Ocean southwest of Hawaii from September 23 to 30, 1964. Graphs plot various data from Cruise 95 (surface temperature (∞C), surface salinity (â), depth (meters), and depth of the mixed layer(meters)) by longitude. One table in the folder is a compilation of hydrographic data for Cruise 95; the other is a compilation of BT, bkt, and corrected surface temp.
