Notes
This folder contains maps, tables, and graphs pertaining to cruises 69, 71, 76, 79, 85, and 89 of the Charles H. Gilbert in the Pacific Ocean, between October 1963 and March 1966. Cruise 65 covers an area between Hawaii and New Caledonia; Cruise 85 covers an area from Hawaii to Baja California; the other cruises cover areas to the south and west of Hawaii. BT stations are plotted on a separate map for each cruise. Hand-drawn graphs plot various data (surface temperature (∞C), surface salinity (â), isotherm depth (meters), and depth of the mixed layer(meters)) by longitude for different sections of cruises 69, 71, and 89. Computer generated graphs plot the same data for cruises 76 and 79. Photocopied tables indicate the sections of each cruise.
