Drawings on six boards showing the wild apples of Caucasus (West Transcaucasus and Daghestan), wild pears of North Caucasus, wild apples of Middle Asia and wild pears of Middle Asia.

"Presented to Professor Richard Wellington of this Station [New York State Agricultural Experiment Station] in 1932 by Nikolai Ivanovich Vavilov at the time of the International Genetics Congress in Ithaca, N.Y. He said they would never be published in Russia. He was arrested in 1940 and died a few years later in a Siberian village."
