The diary is from Edward Preble's trip with Wilfred Hudson Osgood and George Howard Parker to Pribilof Islands to Alaska in 1914. Entries are dated, and list travel destinations. It includes multiple tables in between journal entries. Entries describe weather, vegetation, wildlife (including birds), physical surroundings, group sealing (hunting) by indigenous inhabitants, especially fur seals.
