This field book contains notes on animals observed during the Mt. Malindang expedition from Zamboanga to Manila and the return to Zamboanga, 8 July to 27 July 1906. Mearns notes birds observed in various localities visited and flying fish at Misami, dophins and a shark in Batangas Bay, and bumblebees collected at "Dubag". A sketch of Mt. Malindang and "Mt. Halso" (with partial coordinates) is included. Two specimen labels are also included.
