Notes
A data matrix is formed which relates wildlife species grouped on the basis of habitat requirements for reproduction and feeding (life forms) with habitats grouped on the basis of plant community structure. This working draft presents concepts and data dealing with interrelationships of several hundred wildlife species used to create an ADP database for the Brothers EIS area in Central Oregon. It contains the most commonly used tables and references complete descriptions of concepts used. The species orientation shown is based upon the assumption that a particular species will use the kind of habitat (plant community structure) shown if other essential habitat components are present.
Contents: Wildlife species : alphabetical by common name ; alphabetical by scientific name -- Interrelationships -- Habitats -- Impacts of type conversion : seedings ; brush and juniper control ; juniper control without brush control.
