Alexander Wetmore traveled to Haiti, 1931 to collect natural history specimens for the US National Museum. Accompanied by Frederick C. Lincoln. He worked to some extent with US Marine Corps stationed at Port-au-Prince, as seen in correspondence. Materials include field notes, circa 12 March - 1 June, 1931; correspondence with John Enos Graf, Charles Wallace Richmond, and others; itemized expense records; supply lists; and reference materials. Sites include Isla Beata, Pic de Macaya, and Île à Vache. Field notes have a list of individuals and contact information, lists of supplies, and list of film (with locations).
