Supplementary descriptions are presented of Philomedes rankiniana (Jones and Kirkby, 1867) and Eocypridina radiata (Jones and Kirkby, 1874).A basic classification proposed for Paleozoic and Mesozoic Myodocopida includes a new suborder, three new superfamilies, and three new families.
