Notes
Correspondence from Nathaniel Wilson to John Torrey, dated June 24, 1862. Wilson's letter accompanies a packet of Jamaican ferns. After a few pleasantries, Wilson embarks on a series of complaints regarding the state of the island's management. "Our Botanical matters are all but at a stand still," he laments. He goes on to describe his experiments in cultivating cinchona and cotton.
