The two stacks of loose note paper document the field work of Edward A. Goldman in Minnesota, January 14 - February 23; September 3 - 22, 1934. Entries are dated and describe weather, work with colleagues, destinations and time of day, list of plants seen per site, terrain, wildlife observed (mammals including types), specimens collected, assorted notes.
