Field notes Vol. 148 documents John Adolph Shafer's botanical collecting in Cuba in 1911 on a New York Botanical Garden expedition. It is comprised of a list of specimen numbers 11184-11287, collected in December 1911 in Cuba. The notebook includes dates and locations, and entries have very brief descriptive information on the plant and/or habitat. Most entries do not have the full plant name. All but the first nine pages of the notebook are blank.
