Field notes Vol. 166-170 are housed together in one box. All document New York Botanical Garden expeditions to the Bahamas in 1907 and 1909 by Percy Wilson, and in 1910 by John Kunkel Small and Joel Jackson Carter.

Field notes Vol. 168 documents Percy Wilson's botanical collecting in the Bahamas in 1909 on a New York Botanical Garden expedition. It is comprised of a list of specimen numbers 7912-8438, collected May 13-June 5, 1909 in the Bahamas. The notebook includes dates and locations, and entries have very brief descriptive information on the plant and/or habitat. Most entries do not have the full plant name.
