Field notes Vol. 166-170 are housed together in one box. All document New York Botanical Garden expeditions to the Bahamas in 1907 and 1909 by Percy Wilson, and in 1910 by John Kunkel Small and Joel Jackson Carter.

Field notes Vol. 170 documents John Kunkel Small's botanical collecting in the Bahamas in 1910 on a New York Botanical Garden expedition, with co-collector Joel Jackson Carter. It is comprised of a list of specimen numbers 8824-8980, collected January-February, 1910 on Andros Island in the Bahamas.
