This small notebook was kept by Remington Kellogg during his work for the U.S. Biological Survey in 1915The notes consist of a list of birds, nests, and eggs observed in North Dakota and Minnesota. Entries include bird names, nest and egg counts. Also includes observations of and notes on abundance of beavers, coyotes, rabbits, and other mammals. Includes reference to collecting a bobcat, but no collection number or other information provided. Notes on a river trip include brief narrative accounts of daily activities, route, weather, and collections made. Localities include: Walyseton, Grinnell, Lostwood, Beaver, Ft. Totten, Marvel, and Drayton.
