This contains three copies of an unpublished manuscript written by William Healey Dall entitled, "Beach and shore shells of Monterey, California; collected in person with notes on geographical distribution, synonymy and habits." Notes document specimen collecting in the vicinity of the Salinas River in Monterey, California, during January 1866.
