This is the itinerary and journal of Edmund Heller's field work with Dr. Hiram Bingham in the National Geographic Society Yale University Peruvian Expedition, 1915. Includes typed carbon copy and handwritten version. Pages are numbered. Notes cover April to November 1915. Entries are dated and subject matter includes weather, references to Peruvians working with them (by name), descriptions of terrain (including descriptions of geological makeup) and vegetation including area agriculture, comments about abundance of certain types of plants, specimens collected (birds and mammals including deer, bears, rodents, rodents) and method used and under what circumstances, wildlife observed (birds).
