The 5 black-and-white photographs document field work on Fanning Atoll [Tabuaeran] in Kiribati during the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, March 26-28, 1964. Images have captions on the reverse side that listss location, date range, description, photographer, and negative number. Photographs were taken by R. Clapp. Subject matter covers terrain (lagoon), participants in camp (Sibley and Hackman), vegetation (coconut trees and pandanas), and "native huts."
